Steve and family recently traveled to northern Africa for vacation in beautiful Tunisia. While they were there, they visited the pyramids, took a camel ride on the beach and soaked in the culture!

Steve will be heading back to the studio later this month with famed Nashville Songwriter/Producer Phil O'Donnell aka "Philbilly." Steve and Phil will be laying down tracks for Steve's 2010 release which as of now is untitled.

More about Phil O'Donnell:
O’Donnell’s songwriting credits include his first 1 single, “Back When I Knew It All” recorded by Montgomery Gentry, “Love Remembers” and “I Got You” (Craig Morgan), “Tougher Than Nails” (Joe Diffie), and “Fore She Was Mama (Clay Walker).
In addition to having a successful career as a songwriter, O’Donnell also serves as producer for artists such as Craig Morgan, Justin McBride, Tara Oram, Jason Blaine and Darren Kozelsky. Meet Steve Richard
FORCE MP Entertainment recording artist Steve Richard will release a brand new single called “South of Heaven,” which was co-written by his producer Phil O’Donnell and Wade Kirby. The new single is from the forthcoming album
KEEP ON ROLLIN,’ which streets summer 2014.
Since the release of his acclaimed UP TO SOMETHING, Steve continues to garner mainstream airplay with singles such as; “Toothbrush,” “Loves Gotta Go Somewhere” and the hit “Keep on Rollin,” which was the lead single and title track from the new forthcoming release. “Keep on Rollin,’’’ received rave reviews from CMT and made its world premiere on CMT.com. As a truly independent artist Steve has chiseled his name and songs into the fabric of both the Music Row and Billboard charts and has many supporters at radio.
“Keep On Rollin’” was the fastest rising single in Steve’s career thus far and garnered a Top 40 single at Music Row. He has once again paired with producer Phil O’Donnell (Phillbilly) for the new project which has already yielded the Power Source #1 song, “Toothbrush,” a catchy little tune summing up life’s special moments which landed him another Top 40 on the Music Row Charts.
His latest mainstream project is a follow-up to his last album, UP TO SOMETHIN’, which appealed to music fans of every genre. That release garnered Steve’s very first #1 SONG, “Eighty Acre Church”. The second single from UP TO SOMETHIN,’ titled “Love’s Gotta Go Somewhere” reads like life poetry, telling the story of love lost to the grave with the one left behind rejoicing in the memory of the love of a lifetime. The song was a Top 40 single on mainstream country’s Music Row Chart. The beautifully animated video for the song received quite a bit of attention with placements with online giants such as Yahoo and AOL. It was the first time in the history of the ICM Awards that an independent artist won this distinction.
A dynamic performer, Steve has toured with rockers like Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Dickey Betts, and country greats Dierks Bentley, Montgomery Gentry and Craig Morgan. “Stomp,” from his first album, ignited a line dance craze and became an interactive video game.
Steve Richard’s musical journey has never been about labels. Even so, the sheer diversity of his accomplishments is impressive. A writer, singer and entertainer of great versatility, he has built a resume that effortlessly spans styles and genres. This new release stands to surpass the success of ‘Up to Somethin’ , with upcoming hits like, the new single “South of Heaven” and “Riverbank.” These songs will continue to establish Steve an artist that is here to stay.
Steve Richard’s music shows a distinct sound and an artist at the top of his game when it comes to turning intimate moments into universal truths. This year he continues to tour in support of his Reclaiming Hope tour and upcoming markets including, Ohio, Illinois, Alabama and Kentucky.
