Steve Richard ( is an independent country singer and performer. He was named the Inspirational Country Music “New Artist of the Year” in 2009 and has been nominated for “Entertainer of the Year,” “Male Vocalist of the Year” and many more. The video for his song, “Love’s Gotta Go Somewhere”, won the award for “Video of the Year” at the 2012 ICM Awards, beating out some very well-known mainstream artists

Steve’s latest single, “Keep On Rollin’”, is currently #1 on the Music Weekly charts, in the top 20 on the Power Source charts, and in the top 40 on the Music Row charts. His previously released single, “Toothbrush”, went to #1 on the Power Source charts and was in the Top 20 Music Row charts.  “Toothbrush” is up for the ICM Awards music video of the year. And I’m just hitting the highlights of a very impressive resume!

As it happens, Steve will be in Prescott on Saturday, September 21, at Hope Fest AZ, a Celebrate Recovery event taking place at the Prescott Courthouse Plaza. He’s performing at 2:45 in the afternoon. A schedule of events, which includes several other Christian performers, bands, and speakers, can be found on the Hope Fest AZ web site.

I had the opportunity to ask Steve a few questions. Here’s a couple of them:

Karmann: This is your second year at Hope Fest AZ. What was your experience like last year? Steve: Last year, we got rained out and the event was canceled. All the fans went home, but we went to a fellowship hall. All of the workers of the event, who set up the entire event, were assembling for a meal. My guitar player and I did a private show for about 100 people. It wasn’t like we had thought it would be, but we made the best of it. We came to Prescott to perform and that’s what we did!

Karmann: What drew you to Hope Fest AZ?  Steve: I’ve been playing at many of the Celebrate Recovery events across the country. I can relate very well to everyone there! I got clean and sober in 1999. Before that, I was pretty much, a full-time drug addict and alcoholic…

I’m stopping right here because Steve is sharing his testimony at Hope Fest AZ on Saturday. If you can’t make it, don’t worry. Look for my interview with Steve Richard in the December 1, 2013 edition of The Relevant Christian Magazine, along with my interview with Covenant 31, a Christian band from Prescott also playing at Hope Fest AZ.  I promise you’ll be inspired!

Congratulations are in order for Steve and the entire Force MP Entertainment team!
Keep On Rollin' is #1 on the New Music Weekly Chart!

"I See You In Everything"

Steve's new single 'Keep On Rollin,' has rolled into a great first week at country radio and is in the top 20 most added over the last two weeks on the Music Row Chart!  Thank you country radio and congrats to the entire SR Team!

FORCE MP recording artist Steve Richard recently made an appearance at CRS 2013 where he began promotion for his forthcoming full-length CD, which will be released later this summer.

Steve recorded PSAs for various organizations including the MDA, Women Rock for the Cure, Operation Troop Aid, and The Honor One Program for military families.
FORCE MP Records hosted a VIP reception and concert where Steve gave an acoustic concert of his hit songs to a packed room of CRS attendees.  The live performance was followed by a listening session that included his brand new single, "Keep On Rollin,'' which immediately garnered a positive reaction from the crowded room.
The single is the debut track from the award-winning artist's new album, due out later this year. Steve has once again teamed with producer Phil O'Donnell (Craig Morgan) on the new project, a collaboration which has proven itself over and over with award nominations and acclaim.

"Keep On Rollin'" follows the Power Source #1 hits, "Toothbrush" and "80 Acre Church."
