Busy ICM Week for Steve Richard in Nashville!
Force MP Entertainment recording artist Steve Richard had a busy schedule in Nashville last week. The ICM award winner and 2011 nominee was in town participating in Inspirational Country Music Week as well as promoting his current hit single “Love’s Gotta Go Somewhere.”
On Tuesday Steve attended the Power Source Media Luncheon, held at the Wildhorse Saloon, where he accepted an award for his #1 single “Eighty Acre Church.”
On Wednesday, he was treated to a personal tour of Nashville’s Second Harvest Food Bank, one of the largest food bank facilities in the United States. Steve assisted a young teenage lady last year in raising enough money to feed 500 families at Thanksgiving. He wanted to witness first hand the good works of Second Harvest in hopes of lending his talent and efforts to help further their cause as well.
On Thursday, Steve visited Renegade Radio Nashville, a LIVE internet radio show which broadcasts from Music Row. He talked on air with Captain Jack about his ICM nominations and the songs on his current EP release UP TO SOMETHIN.’ Thursday evening, Steve treated the convention attendees to an acoustic performance of “Love’s Gotta Go Somewhere’ and “Love Anyhow” at a VIP reception at the Millenium Maxwell House before rounding out the week with attending the 2011 ICM Awards on Friday evening.
Steve and his lovely wife, Rachelle, arrived at the pink carpet “in style” in a vintage white Jaguar. After speaking with press outlets on the pink carpet and showing their support for breast cancer awareness and for breast cancer survivors attending the show by carrying white scarves adorned with pink ribbons, Steve and Rachelle were escorted to their seats for the awards ceremony. Steve presented the Mainstream Inspirational Song Award which went to Justin Moore.
After the ceremony, Steve attended the after show celebration before heading back to his home in St. Louis to continue work on his new music project which will release in 2012.
Inspirational Country Music Artist Steve Richard Visits The Dream Center in Los Angles
Force MP Entertainment recording artist Steve Richard was invited to perform at the Angelus Temple and give his testimony at the Dream Center in Los Angeles, CA recently. The Inspirational Country Music artist treated the congregation to songs from his EP,
UP TO SOMETHIN’ including "Invisible Hand" and "Love Anyhow."
“What a magnificent experience it was to share my music, faith and testimony to such a welcoming audience,” says Steve. “I truly hope that sharing my story with others will give them the inspiration to dream big and know that they can accomplish all things in Christ.”
While Steve was in Los Angeles he also taped a segment for "Celebrity Stories of Faith" on Odyssey Networks. Information about the air date and details will be announced later.
Steve has garnered nominations in two categories for the ICM Awards this year, "Inspirational Country Song" and "Entertainer of the Year." The awards ceremony will be held on October 28, 2011 at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, TN.

Force MP Entertainment recording artist Steve Richard performed the past Saturday (August 27th ) at Victory Weekend, a praise and worship event held during the NASCAR race weekend at the Bristol Motor Speedway. The performance was streamed live on the internet for viewing audience of more than 2 million on Facebook!
Steve opened for The Gatlin Brothers and performed songs from his current EP, UP TO SOMETHIN,’ including his Power Source Christian Country #1 Hit "Eighty Acre Church" and his most recent single "Love's Gotta Go Somewhere," during the gathering.
The final nominations for the ICM (Inspirational Country Music) Awards were announced today and Steve has garnered nominations in two categories, "Inspirational Country Song" and "Entertainer of the Year." The awards ceremony will be held on October 28, 2011 at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, TN.
Steve was also recently spotlighted on other online giants, Yahoo and AOL, when the new animated video for his current single “Love’s Gotta Go Somewhere” was featured on those sites!
Steve's next stop will be the prestigious Dream Center in Los Angeles, CA on September 15 and 16 where he will be performing and giving his testimony, before heading out on the second leg a national radio tour in support of his new single "Love's Gotta Go Somewhere."
